Please read this Privacy Policy carefully. By using the App, you agree to the collection and use of information in accordance with this policy. If you do not agree with our policies and practices, do not use the App.

- Account Information: When you create an account, we collect your email address and password.

1.2 Information Automatically Collected

- Device Information: We may collect information about your mobile device, including device type, operating system version, unique device identifiers, and mobile network information.
- Log Data: Our servers automatically record information created by your use of the App, including timestamps, error logs, and crash reports.
1.3 Subscription and Payment Information
- Subscription Status: We track your subscription tier, status (active, trial, expired), and renewal dates.
- Payment Processing: Payment transactions are processed by Apple through the App Store. We do not collect or store your payment card information. We receive confirmation of transactions and subscription status from Apple and our payment processor, RevenueCat.
2. How We Use Your Information
We use the information we collect for the following purposes:
- Provide and Maintain the App: To create and manage your account, deliver app features, and provide customer support.
- Process Subscriptions: To manage your subscription, process payments through Apple, and provide access to premium features.
- Improve the App: To understand how users interact with the App and improve functionality, user experience, and content.
- Communications: To send you important updates about your account, subscription changes, and app updates. We will not send marketing communications without your consent.
- Security and Fraud Prevention: To detect, prevent, and address technical issues, fraudulent activity, and security threats.
- Legal Compliance: To comply with applicable laws, regulations, and legal processes.
3. How We Share Your Information
We do not sell your personal information. We may share your information in the following circumstances:
3.1 Service Providers
We use trusted third-party services to help us operate the App:
- Supabase: Database and authentication services (hosting, user authentication, data storage)
- RevenueCat: Subscription management and payment processing
- Apple: App distribution and in-app purchase processing
These service providers have access to your information only to perform tasks on our behalf and are obligated to protect your information and not use it for other purposes.
3.2 Legal Requirements
We may disclose your information if required to do so by law or in response to valid requests by public authorities (e.g., a court or government agency).
3.3 Business Transfers
If we are involved in a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets, your information may be transferred as part of that transaction. We will provide notice before your information is transferred and becomes subject to a different privacy policy.
4. Data Retention
We retain your information for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide you with the App. We will also retain and use your information as necessary to comply with legal obligations, resolve disputes, and enforce our agreements.
When you delete your account (see Section 6 below), we will delete your personal information within 30 days, except where we are required to retain it for legal, regulatory, or security purposes.

We implement appropriate technical and organizational security measures to protect your information against unauthorized access, alteration, disclosure, or destruction. These measures include:

- Secure cloud infrastructure provided by trusted vendors
However, no method of transmission over the internet or electronic storage is 100% secure. While we strive to protect your information, we cannot guarantee its absolute security.

6.1 Access and Portability

6.2 Correction
You can update your account information directly in the App settings. If you need assistance, contact us at support@getbitcoinalpha.com.
6.3 Deletion
You have the right to delete your account and personal information at any time:
- In-App: Go to Settings → Account → Delete Account. This will permanently delete your account and all associated data.
- Email Request: Send a deletion request to support@getbitcoinalpha.com and we will process your request within 30 days.
6.4 Manage Subscriptions
To manage or cancel your subscription:
- Go to iOS Settings → [Your Name] → Subscriptions
- Select Bitcoin Alpha and manage your subscription
- Or in the App: Settings → Subscription → Manage Subscription
6.5 California Privacy Rights
If you are a California resident, you have additional rights under the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA):
- Right to know what personal information we collect and how it is used
- Right to request deletion of your personal information
- Right to opt-out of the sale of personal information (Note: We do not sell personal information)
- Right to non-discrimination for exercising your privacy rights
6.6 European Privacy Rights (GDPR)
If you are located in the European Economic Area (EEA), you have rights under the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR):
- Right to access your personal data
- Right to rectification of inaccurate data
- Right to erasure (“right to be forgotten”)

- Right to data portability
- Right to object to processing
- Right to withdraw consent
7. Children’s Privacy
Bitcoin Alpha is not intended for use by children under the age of 13 (or 16 in the EEA). We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If we discover that we have collected personal information from a child, we will delete that information immediately. 8. International Data Transfers
Your information may be transferred to and maintained on servers located outside of your state, province, country, or other governmental jurisdiction where data protection laws may differ from those in your jurisdiction.
If you are located outside the United States and choose to use the App, please be aware that we transfer your information to the United States and process it there. By using the App, you consent to the transfer of your information to the United States.
9. Third-Party Links
The App may contain links to third-party websites or services. We are not responsible for the privacy practices of these third parties. We encourage you to read the privacy policies of any third-party sites you visit.
10. Push Notifications
We may send you push notifications with important updates, alerts, and information related to Bitcoin market cycles. You can disable push notifications at any time through your device settings or in the App settings.
11. Changes to This Privacy Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of any changes by:
- Posting the new Privacy Policy in the App
- Updating the “Last Updated” date at the top of this policy
- Sending you a notification for material changes
Your continued use of the App after any changes indicates your acceptance of the updated Privacy Policy.
